Design & Build
JBL Go is a tiny cuboid shaped Bluetooth speaker. It is very light with a weight of about 130 gms. Its dimensions are 8.3 x 3.1 x 6.8 cm. This speaker is made up of good quality hard plastic wrapped in a soft rubberized material which makes it very durable and gives it an aesthetic look.
JBL Go is small enough to fit in your pocket very easily. It has a front plastic grill printed nicely with JBL logo. This speaker comes in 6 different colors including black, yellow, orange, teal, blue, red and pink.
It has volume, power, Bluetooth and calls receive button at the top. These buttons are slightly raised with a very nice finishing. On the right side, JBL has given a USB port, a 3.5 mm jack for Aux cable and a mic pinhole.
For JBL Go Review, our main emphasis was on performance. We used it regularly for around 2 weeks and we must say JBL Go can be very easily paired with any Bluetooth device within no time. Despite being a tiny sized speaker, it really surprised us with its sound quality and loudness.
One thing we didn’t like much is that, after turning volume little louder, the sound was not that clear and fine. Bass is also not that good as expected.
Overall, its performance in indoors is quite good but for outdoors, we would suggest you buy a bigger and louder speaker.
Battery life is a positive point in JBL Go. JBL has given a 600 mAH battery. It takes around 2-2.5 hours to fully charge. Company claims around 5 hours use after full charged but we easily managed to play songs for 6-7 hours.
|Compatibility:||Android & iOS devices|
|Frequency Range:||180Hz to 20KHz|
|Charging Time:||2 hrs|

Final Verdict- Its a great speaker in terms of portability and indoor use. For outdoor you need a better one. Sound quality is really good but there is some audio distortion after a certain volume level.
If you want to buy a decent Bluetooth speaker under Rs.2000, then go for JBL GO is highly recommended.
